Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned the Superintendent of Central Jail Adiala, Rawalpindi, to appear in person on February 12 in a contempt of court case regarding a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the IHC conducted the hearing on a petition filed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The petitioner contended that he was denied access to meet Imran Khan in jail despite the court’s directives.
The court issued notices to the respondents and adjourned the hearing while instructing compliance with its orders.
