How Did Police Teams Save Stranded Buffaloes From Chenab?

Muzaffargarh: In a major rescue operation, around 200 buffaloes trapped in the floodwaters of River Chenab in Rangpur, Muzaffargarh, were safely rescued under the supervision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

According to official sources, District Police Officer (DPO) Muzaffargarh used drone cameras to locate the stranded livestock. Acting swiftly, police and Rescue 1122 teams launched a coordinated operation with boats and successfully brought the animals to safety.

The rescued buffaloes were later shifted to secure locations. Cattle owners expressed gratitude to the rescue teams for their timely and courageous efforts.

The large-scale operation has been widely praised by the public as a commendable display of compassion, efficiency, and public service during the flood emergency.
