ICT Police Track, Rescue Couple on Margalla Hills

Islamabad: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police successfully rescued a tourist couple who lost their way while hiking on the Margalla Hills, following a swift response to a distress call made through the Rescue 15 helpline.
According to an ICT Police official, the young couple contacted Rescue 15 late at night after becoming disoriented on one of the Margalla hiking trails. Upon receiving the call, two dedicated police teams were immediately dispatched to the area.

The teams conducted a coordinated search operation and were able to safely locate and escort the couple back without any injuries or incident.
The rescued couple expressed their gratitude to the Islamabad Police for their prompt and professional response during the emergency.
“The Islamabad Police is doing an excellent job in ensuring the safety of tourists,” said one of the individuals.
The timely operation highlights ICT Police’s commitment to public safety and their readiness to respond swiftly in emergency situations.
