Peshawar: The district administration has advised individuals planning to travel from Babu Sar Top to destinations like Gilgit and Khunjerab via the Naran Road against it due to the ongoing heavy snowfall.

The district administration has decided to close Babusar Pass in Mansehra, imposing restrictions on all types of traffic, said officials on Friday.

According to a Mansehra Police spokesperson, the recreational area of Babusar Top Road has been entirely shut down, prohibiting any movement or traffic.

All citizens are urged to use the main Karakoram Highway (KKH) Road for travel to places such as Gilgit.

This precautionary measure aims to ensure the safety of residents and travellers in the region during adverse weather conditions.

The district administration, in collaboration with the Mansehra Police, is actively monitoring the situation to mitigate potential risks and ensure the well-being of the public.
