Hassle-Free Services: Punjab Launches ‘Maryam Ki Dastak App’

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, alongside Provincial Ministers and Members of the Provincial Assembly, officially launched the “Maryam Ki Dastak App” during a special event held at a local hotel on Tuesday.

At the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) booth, a robot warmly welcomed the CM and provided a demonstration of the Dastak app. Meanwhile, at the Information Technology University (ITU) booth, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif virtually toured the Dastak Office located in Arfa Karim Tower using Metaverse Technology.

Authorities briefed the CM that initially, all citizens, including seniors, women, and those with disabilities, will have access to 10 essential services through the “Maryam Ki Dastak App.” These services range from obtaining domicile certificates to vehicle registrations, and citizens can conveniently request them via a dedicated number, mobile app, or public portal. Moreover, citizens can track their applications using a unique Tracking ID.

The CM was informed that the Dastak app will dispatch government-approved representatives to deliver the requested services directly to citizens’ doorsteps. These representatives will ensure the safe delivery of documents and assist citizens throughout the process.

During the event, the CM interacted with Dastak representatives and posed for a group photo with them. Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Ministers Azma Zahid Bukhari, Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, Sohaib Ahmed Bharat, Rana Sikandar Hayat, Bilal Akbar, Special Assistants Rashid Nasrullah and Zeeshan Malik, along with Members of the Punjab Assembly, accompanied the Chief Minister. Additionally, the Chief Secretary, IG Punjab, secretaries, and other relevant officers were also in attendance
