Governor Punjab Joins Citizens for Sehri at Pindi Food Street

Rawalpindi: Governor of Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, made a surprise visit to Rawalpindi’s bustling Chandni Chowk food street in the early hours of Sunday, where he joined citizens for Sehri.
The governor mingled with visitors, sharing a traditional pre-dawn meal of chicken chana, nihari, pai (mutton trotters), lassi, and hot naan. His presence among the public created an atmosphere of excitement, with many people capturing the moment through selfies.
During the visit, Sardar Saleem Haider distributed Eid gifts among children, adding to the festive spirit.
“The people of Rawalpindi are as passionate about food as those in Lahore,” he remarked.
He emphasized his commitment to staying connected with the public, stating that he would continue visiting different districts of Punjab to engage with citizens and address their concerns.
The governor expressed gratitude to the people of Rawalpindi for their warm hospitality and appreciation.
