Islamabad: In the United States, Google terminated the employment of 28 workers who protested against the company’s agreement with the Israeli government.

As reported by the American magazine “Bloomberg,” Google entered into a contract worth $1.02 billion with the multinational corporation Amazon. This agreement entails providing artificial intelligence and cloud services to the government of Israel.

The employees believe that the company is committing the genocide of Palestinians by helping Israel.

On April 16, demonstrations, protests, and sit-ins against the deal took place at Google’s offices in New York City, Seattle, and Sunnyvale, California, New York, which lasted for 10 hours.

Protesters called on Google to terminate its agreement with Israel.

Google said that disrupting the work of other employees is against company policies and is considered unacceptable behavior, and 28 company employees have been fired after an investigation into the incident.

The company also stated that they will continue to investigate further and take appropriate action as required.

It should be noted that earlier it was revealed that the Zionist authorities in Gaza resorted to artificial intelligence for the genocide of Palestinians.

According to past reports, Israel is using advanced facial recognition software, which can detect the emotions and feelings of any human being.

Earlier on March 9, 2024, Google fired a software engineer who raised slogans in favor of Palestine during an Israeli tech event organized by the company in New York.

It should be remembered that according to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, 33, 899 Palestinians have been martyred in the Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, including women and children, and 76, 664 have been injured.

The number could be many times higher.
