Gold Prices Drop After Surge, Silver Steady

Islamabad: Gold prices in both Pakistan and the international market have started to decline after experiencing a continuous surge over the past several days.

As reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,600 on Monday, bringing it down to Rs351,500. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs2,228, now standing at Rs301,354.

On the global front, gold also saw a notable decline, with the price per ounce falling by $26 to settle at $3,331.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained steady. The price of 24-karat silver per tola stayed unchanged at Rs3,508, while the price for 10 grams held firm at Rs3,007.
