Girl Recovered in Koh-e-Suleman, CCD Officers Injured

Muzaffargarh: Police in Kot Addu rescued a girl abducted by the Hajana gang within three days, while in a separate incident, an in-charge of the Civil Defence Police (CCD) and three constables were critically injured during an encounter with criminals in Layyah district.
According to police officials, the abducted girl was safely recovered from the mountainous region of Koh-e-Suleman in Dera Ghazi Khan following effective intelligence-based operations.
The rescue mission was carried out under the special instructions of District Police Officer Kot Addu Mansoor Qamar and supervised by DSP Abdul Ghaffar.
Sub-Inspector Zia Gadi of Kot Addu Police Station led the operation in the difficult terrain, demonstrating professional skill and courage.
The girl had reportedly been abducted three days earlier by Shakir Hajana and his accomplices after her family refused a proposed marriage. While the abductors managed to escape, police safely recovered the girl and handed her over to her family, who expressed gratitude to the police team for their timely action.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Paharpur area of District Layyah, an Incharge of the Civil Defence Police (CCD) Kot Addu and three constables sustained critical injuries during a gunfight with notorious gang members.
According to District Officer CCD Kot Addu Saadat Ali Chauhan, the CCD team raided the hideout of criminals Iqraari Bola and Javed Abi following credible intelligence.
The suspects opened indiscriminate fire during the raid, injuring Inspector Nawaz Lund and Constables Shahid Gadi, Amir Germani, and Imran Chandia. Inspector Lund sustained three bullet wounds.
All injured personnel were shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving treatment. District Officer Chauhan praised the bravery of the CCD team and said police operations were underway to arrest the fleeing criminals.
Regional Officer CCD Dera Ghazi Khan Division Khan Yousaf Haroon, along with District Officer Chauhan, visited the injured officers at the hospital and commended their courage and dedication.
