News Desk

Mastung: Security forces killed four terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Mastung district on Friday, the military’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists belonged to the group Fitna al Hindustan, which it described as an Indian proxy outfit.

The statement said that forces engaged the militants’ location following intelligence reports. “After an intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed,” ISPR confirmed.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered during the operation. The militants, it added, had been involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.

A sanitization operation was launched in the surrounding area to eliminate any remaining threats.

ISPR reaffirmed that security forces remain determined to root out terrorism, including groups it alleges are backed by India.
