Four Labourers Shot Dead in Kalat

Kalat: At least four labourers were shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Mangochar area of Kalat district, Balochistan, while working on a tube well project, authorities confirmed.
According to Mangochar Assistant Commissioner Ali Gul Imrani, armed men on motorcycles opened fire at the labourers in the Malangzai location and fled the scene.
The deceased workers, all hailing from Sadiqabad, Punjab, have been identified as Munawar Hussain, Zeeshan, Dilawar Hussain, and M. Amin.
The labourers were engaged in drilling a tube well for a local landowner, Abdul Ghafoor Langove, when the attack took place. Upon receiving reports of the incident, Levies personnel reached the site, collected evidence, and launched an investigation into the motive behind the killings.
PM Condemns Attack on Labourers
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack on workers in Kalat. He prayed for the victims and expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. The premier also stated that the nation stood in solidarity with the affected families during this difficult time.
Calling those who target innocent labourers “enemies of humanity,” PM Sharif reaffirmed his commitment to eradicating terrorism, stating that the government will not rest until all forms of terrorism are eliminated from the country.
Four Policemen Martyred in Noshki Attack
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of four policemen in a terrorist attack targeting a police mobile van in the Noshki district of Balochistan.
In a statement, the prime minister ordered an immediate probe into the incident to identify and punish the perpetrators. He also prayed for peace for the martyrs’ souls and strength for their families to bear the loss.
Govt Vows to Defeat Terrorism
“The nation will never forget the great sacrifices rendered by police and law enforcement personnel in the war against terrorism. We will continue the fight against terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country,” the prime minister remarked.
He further emphasized that the government would never let the nefarious designs of terrorists succeed, who he described as enemies of the development and peace of Balochistan.
