Four Killed, Several Injured As Bus Collides With Trailer

Islamabad: At least four people lost their lives and several others sustained injuries when a passenger bus collided with a trailer truck near Sohal Jhang Road in Faisalabad on Wednesday morning.

According to rescue sources, a speeding trailer collided with the passenger bus, resulting in four fatalities and injuring several other passengers, a private news channel reported.

The bus was en route from Layyah to Faisalabad when the tragic accident occurred.

Rescue teams provided medical assistance to the injured.

Two security guards were killed and two others seriously injured when a cash transport van overturned near the M4 Motorway Interchange in Gujra, Toba Tek Singh, on Friday morning.

Rescue sources said the van, carrying a cash consignment, lost control after one of its tires burst at high speed, causing it to flip over, according to a local news channel.

The deceased and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
