Four Dead, Several Injured as Bus Overturns in Khanewal

Islamabad: At least four people were killed and several others, including women, were seriously injured when a speeding bus overturned near the Pervez Wala Bus Stop in Khanewal on Sunday morning.

Rescue officials said the bus was en route from Rahim Yar Khan to Faisalabad when the driver lost control due to overspeeding, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Four passengers died on the spot, while many others sustained critical injuries. The injured were rushed to hospitals in Jahania and Khanewal, where emergency teams worked to provide immediate medical care.

Authorities said the condition of several injured passengers remains serious. An investigation into the cause of the tragic accident is underway.
