Sargodha: Fireworks, folk artists, and citrus wonders attracted massive crowds at Sargodha’s Lok Mela on its fourth day.
The week-long Lok Mela, organized by the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Sargodha in the city, continued its vibrant celebration on Sunday.
PHA Director General Tauqeer Haider Kazmi emphasized the Mela’s core objective: to promote and preserve regional culture while nurturing an understanding of the region’s rich history among the youth.

On the fourth day, an array of activities unfolded, including captivating fireworks, spirited Ludi dances, awe-inspiring acrobatics, gymnastic displays, an agricultural showcase, and an exhibition featuring the region’s diverse citrus fruits.
The audience was enraptured by the enchanting performance of the renowned folk singer, Nooran Lal, adding an extra layer of delight to the festivities.
Kazmi expressed gratification at the significant turnout, with families and individuals of all ages relishing a variety of ‘desi’ and fast foods, enjoying the thrill of swings, and exploring the myriad stalls hosted by different departments and brands at the Mela.
Various vibrant and colorful programs also contributed to the lively atmosphere, further enhancing the overall experience, Kazmi added.
