Fire Erupts in Sabzi Mandi Warehouse

Islamabad: A huge fire erupted at the Sabzi Mandi warehouse in Sector I-11 on Thursday morning.

According to APP, the fire destroyed three shops within Sabzi Mandi, including the adjacent warehouses.

Upon the outbreak of the fire, rescue teams and the fire brigade promptly arrived at the location to manage the blaze.

Reportedly, the fire initially started at a warehouse within the Sabzi Mandi (Vegetable Market) in Islamabad during the early hours of Tuesday, as per Dunya News. High winds facilitated the rapid spread of the blaze, eventually encompassing the entire warehouse structure.

Six fire brigade vehicles were deployed and successfully brought the fire under control after a strenuous effort.

There were no casualties or injuries reported from the incident. However, the fire caused substantial damage, resulting in the loss of valuable goods estimated in millions of rupees. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, according to sources involved in the investigation.
