Karachi: A fire erupted at a chips manufacturing factory in Karachi’s Korangi area on Wednesday, triggering a swift response from emergency services. However, no casualties or injuries were reported, officials confirmed.
The blaze broke out at the Zeeshan Chips factory near Murtaza Chowrangi in Sector 28. According to officials at the Awami Colony Police Station, police, rescue teams, and fire brigade personnel rushed to the scene shortly after the fire was reported.
Firefighters launched an operation to contain and extinguish the flames, while police cordoned off the area to ensure public safety and facilitate rescue efforts.
Authorities said the situation was brought under control without any loss of life. The cause of the fire could not be immediately determined, and investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
