FIA Arrests Man for Trafficking Women to Saudi Arabia

Faisalabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad composite circle has arrested the ringleader of an organized gang involved in trafficking women to Saudi Arabia for forced begging.
The accused, identified as Muhammad Ghafoor, was apprehended from Chak No. 216, Faisalabad.
According to official sources, the gang lured women with false promises of a free Umrah pilgrimage and lucrative job opportunities abroad. However, upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, the victims were forced into begging or labor, and the gang later demanded Rs500,000 from each victim’s family for their return to Pakistan.
The FIA has seized mobile phones and other evidence from the accused and launched a detailed investigation. The authorities have also placed the names of other gang members on the stop list to prevent further trafficking attempts.
