Eight-year-old girl found dead under mysterious circumstances

Swabi: An eight-year-old girl was found dead in fields in Swabi area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday, police sources said.

The body of the young girl was found in the Corn field in Swabi area of Banda Maniri Bala. The victim has been identified as Ana.

The body of the victim was badly injured. According to details, the victim had gone to a nearby seminary and didn’t return. Her family was searching for her in the area when someone witnessed the body in the field and informed them. Apparently, the animal’s cuts were found on the child’s body.

The body has been shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and further investigation was underway till the filing of this report.

The local residents have demanded DPO Swabi to find out the exact cause of the child’s death using the latest technology available to police for investigating such blind incidents.
