Eid Milad-un-Nabi to be observed on September 6

Karachi: The central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, chaired by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, announced on Monday that the moon for Rabiul Awwal 1447 AH was not sighted anywhere in Pakistan.

According to the committee, the first day of Rabiul Awwal will fall on Tuesday, August 26, while 12 Rabiul Awwal marking Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) — will be observed on Saturday, September 6.
