Earthquake Shakes Balochistan, Residents Rush Outdoors

Islamabad: A mild earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale struck Qilla Saifullah and surrounding areas of Balochistan in the early hours of Wednesday, triggering brief panic among residents.

No casualties or damage to property were reported, according to a private news channel.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad said the quake’s epicentre was located about 100 kilometres northeast of Muslim Bagh, at a depth of 16 kilometres.
