Dry Weather to Prevail Across Most Parts of Pakistan: PMD

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather over most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, with cold conditions likely in northern regions during night and early morning hours.
According to the PMD, the federal capital and its surrounding areas are expected to experience dry weather. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most plain districts are likely to remain dry, while hilly areas may experience colder nights and mornings.

Punjab is expected to see dry weather across most districts, including Murree and the Galiyat region, where temperatures will remain low during the night and early morning. Sindh is likely to experience hot and dry conditions in most areas, while Balochistan will remain dry with colder nights in its northern districts.
For Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the PMD predicted dry weather with cold conditions during the morning and night, though partly cloudy conditions may occur in some areas of Gilgit-Baltistan.
During the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across most parts of the country, with northern regions experiencing cold conditions. The highest maximum temperature recorded today was 38°C in Sibbi, Tando Jam, and Chhor.
Meanwhile, the city experienced partly cloudy and dry weather on Saturday, with the Meteorological Department forecasting similar conditions for the next 24 hours.
According to Met officials, continental air continues to dominate most parts of the country. Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail nationwide, while cold conditions are expected in the northern areas during the night and early morning hours.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded at Sibbi and Shaheed Benazirabad, where the mercury rose to 37°C, while Lahore registered a maximum temperature of 32°C.
