Islamabad: Islamabad Police have launched a crackdown on one-wheeling and hooliganism following directives from Inspector General (IG) Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, resulting in the seizure of dozens of motorcycles involved in reckless stunts.

An official told APP that IG Rizvi affirmed that illegal activities on roads would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He directed all officers to personally supervise the crackdown in their respective areas to ensure strict enforcement of the law.

The IG emphasized the importance of providing families visiting recreational spots with a safe and secure environment. He also highlighted that more than 1,500 police personnel were deployed across the federal capital on the second day of Eid to maintain law and order.

Traffic officers have been actively working to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles across major roads and intersections. Meanwhile, to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere, entry to Daman-e-Koh and Lake View Park will be restricted to families only, with rowdy individuals being denied access.

IG Rizvi issued a stern warning to young individuals against engaging in unlawful activities, emphasizing that violators would face strict consequences.
