Devastating Fire at Sasta Bazar Destroys Over 70 Stalls

Rawalpindi: More than 70 stalls at Akbar Sasta Bazar on Misrial Road in Rawalpindi were destroyed in a devastating fire.
Rescue 1122 managed to bring the blaze under control after three hours of intense effort. Reports from the media indicated that the fire erupted at the Sasta Bazar during the Iftar time, quickly spreading throughout the market and engulfing all the stalls.
Upon receiving the report of the fire, Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene, where local residents were already attempting to extinguish the flames with their assistance.
The rescue teams, consisting of 11 fire tenders and over 30 firefighters, worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control.
Following the containment of the fire, rescue personnel conducted a thorough search operation in the affected market area to ensure no lives were lost.
Fortunately, there were no casualties reported.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage to the market have yet to be determined.
