181 New Cases Surface

Lahore: As many as 181 new cases of dengue fever were reported in various regions of Punjab, bringing the year’s cumulative count to 9,693 confirmed cases distributed across 36 districts, according to the District Health Department.
Presently, 155 patients are receiving treatment in various hospitals across Punjab, with 70 of them hospitalised in Lahore district.

The circumstance is as yet proceeding, with Sheikhupura and Attock each announcing three instances of dengue infection, though Sargodha, Sahiwal and Lodharan each kept two in a similar time frame. Kasur, Muzaffargarh, Narowal and Nankana Sahib each revealed one case.
Punjab Health Secretary Ali Jaan Khan issued a compelling plea for citizens to maintain clean and dry surroundings as a preventive measure against dengue fever. Khan urged cooperation with health department teams which are working tirelessly to combat the outbreak.
