DC Shirazi Overviews Ramazan Bazaar Operations

Rawalpindi: Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, paid a visit to the Sasta Model Ramazan Bazaar in Murree to assess the arrangements and procedures for selling food items subsidized by the government.

He engaged with the attendees of the bazaar, inquiring about the availability of items and their prices in the Ramadan model bazaar.

DC Shirazi emphasized that subsidized food items were being offered at affordable prices in the Model Ramazan Bazaar.

He acknowledged the efforts of the officers and officials from relevant departments for facilitating the public as per government directives, cautioning against any lapses in this regard.

Subsequently, the DC also inspected the fair price shop set up by the Agriculture Department in Murree.

He lauded the initiatives taken by the Agriculture Department to alleviate the burden on the people, stating that easing the lives of citizens during the holy month of Ramadan is akin to an act of worship.
