Karachi: Darren Sammy, the head coach of Peshawar Zalmi, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, noting that they had secured a playoff spot for the ninth time.

Speaking to the media after a practice match at the National Bank Stadium, Sammy emphasized the team’s trust in young players from the beginning, crediting their consistency for their success.

Sammy highlighted the significance of Babar Azam’s contribution, referring to him as a superstar who consistently seeks improvement. Regarding his role as coach, Sammy reiterated his passion for coaching and his deep attachment to Peshawar Zalmi.

He made it clear that he represented Peshawar and refrained from commenting on coaching matters related to Pakistan as a whole.
