Crown Prince Salman Launches Blood Donation Campaign

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman officially inaugurated the 2026 National Blood Donation Campaign by personally donating blood.
This charitable initiative aims to encourage citizens and residents to contribute to the vital cause of blood donation, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The campaign, which is an annual event, seeks to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation in saving lives. In his remarks,
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the role of community involvement in enhancing public health and the well-being of the nation. He stated, “Every drop of blood donated can save a life, and together we can make a significant impact on our society.”
This initiative not only highlights the Crown Prince’s commitment to public health but also reflects a broader strategy to foster a culture of philanthropy and social responsibility among the Saudi populace.
