Couple Shot Over Honour, Woman Killed, Man Injured

Wah Cantt: A woman has been gunned down and her husband was critically injured as three persons riding on a motorcycle showered bullets over them on Faisal Shaheed road in the limits of Taxila Police station.

The police sources said that Amir Shahzad contracted love marriage with Iqra Bibi- against the will of her parents after fleeing from home.

The couple was returning from local court after appearing their case .

As they reached few yards away from local court complex , the girl brother along with his two other accompanies intercepted them and showered bullets over them, resultantly the girl received multiple  bullets resultantly she died on the spot while the man was injured.

The assassinators managed to escape from the crime scene successfully.

Later the body was shifted to tehsil headquarters hospital Taxila for autopsy and Police launched further investigation.
