Couple Killed In Road Accident

A family of four were killed in a road accident on Sunday after a 4X4 truck crashed into them.

Islamabad: A couple died in a traffic collision and their seven-year-old child received injuries when a fast car struck their motorbike in Wazirabad on Saturday.

Fakhar Zaman, his wife Musarrat Bibi, and their seven-year-old son Zeeshan were returning home on a motorcycle when their vehicle was struck by a speeding car, leaving the couple dead at the scene, informed Rescue 1122 sources.

The deceased couple and injured boy were transferred to a nearby hospital where the boy was treated till the filing of this report.

Nonetheless, the car driver was able to flee the scene. When the accident happened, the police and rescue personnel arrived on the scene and sent the deceased to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital in Wazirabad for formal medical and legal procedures. The police have begun investigations into the incident.
