CM Maryam Purposes Launch Women Safety App

Islamabad: Punjab’s Information Minister Uzma Bukhari on Thursday revealed that Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has proposed the introduction of a safety app for women named ‘Never Again’, personally overseeing its monitoring.
Bukhari announced a historic milestone, highlighting that the country has witnessed the appointment of its first female Chief Minister, emphasizing her sensitivity towards women’s issues.
This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to women’s safety.
Addressing concerns beyond women’s safety, Bukhari reiterated the Chief Minister’s dedication to addressing various societal issues, including waste management.
Emphasizing the need for cleaner cities, the Chief Minister has directed efforts towards reducing the number of dumping sites, particularly in Lahore. Additionally, plans are underway to implement waste management strategies in smaller cities across the province.
Bukhari emphasized the Chief Minister’s proactive approach, asserting that even minor issues would not be overlooked, particularly when it concerns the welfare and protection of women.
The recent meeting convened by the Chief Minister primarily focused on inflation, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to governance and addressing key challenges facing the province.
