Churches Association Denounces Sacrilege Of Quran In Sweden

Abbottabad: “We stand shoulder to shoulder with our Muslim brothers and sisters during this time of severe distress,” said Hazara Division Association of Churches Chairperson Father Rafiq Javed, while condemning the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden during a meeting.
The Hazara Division Association of Churches strongly denounced the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden on Monday. At Father Rafiq’s residence in Abbottabad, the meeting expressed profound condemnation of the incident and extended their unity and solidarity with the Muslim community.
The meeting’s participants urged the Swedish government to launch a comprehensive investigation into the horrible act, ensure that those responsible are duly brought to justice, and state that their goal is to create a precedent and deter similar acts of hatred in the future.
The Association reiterates the significance of religious tolerance and respect for all religions while firmly denouncing the sacrilege of the Holy Quran.
