Islamabad: Mumbai police have released an image of the suspect involved in a knife attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The attack occurred during an attempted robbery at his residence early Thursday morning.

CCTV footage from the sixth floor of Khan’s home captured the suspect at 2:33 am, wearing a t-shirt, jeans, a backpack, and an orange scarf draped over his shoulder.

The video shows the man descending the stairs and briefly looking directly at the camera before leaving the premises.

An FIR has been registered against the suspect under non-bailable sections, and authorities are actively working to apprehend him.

Hospital sources reported that Saif Ali Khan remains under observation in the intensive care unit (ICU) but is no longer in critical condition. Dr Nitin Dange, a neurosurgeon at Lilavati Hospital, confirmed the successful removal of a knife lodged dangerously close to the actor’s thoracic spine during surgery.

According to initial investigations, the assailant attempted to break into the home of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor with the intention of robbery. Khan reportedly confronted the intruder, leading to the attack, after which the suspect fled the scene.
