Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is diligently advancing its efforts to transform the Capital Hospital into a state-of-the-art healthcare institution, aimed at delivering top-notch treatment services to its patients.
A comprehensive strategy is being enacted to ensure that individuals seeking medical care encounter no obstacles during their hospital visits.
To this end, the administration of the Capital Hospital has resolved to procure Cochlear Implant Devices for the nation’s inaugural public sector Cochlear Implant Center, housed within the CDA Hospital premises, equipped with all essential modern amenities for patient care.
A budget of approximately 40 million rupees has been earmarked for the execution of this pivotal project. Alongside, a contemporary hearing assessment system and additional essential devices will be acquired utilizing the allocated funds.
Notably, advertisements have been disseminated in newspapers to solicit necessary equipment and services.
It’s worth highlighting that numerous deaf and speech-impaired children have received treatment under the guidance of proficient surgeons and medical practitioners at the Cochlear Implant Center of the Capital Hospital.
The designation of Cochlear Implant Center by the CDA Board aims to enhance the functionality of this facility and elevate it to a Center of Excellence, specializing in catering to the needs of deaf and hearing-impaired patients.
Expressing his views on this initiative, the Chairman of the CDA emphasized that delivering superior medical amenities to the residents of Islamabad stands as a paramount objective for the institution.
