To mark the revival of direct air connectivity, a cake-cutting ceremony was organised before the departure of the return flight to Dhaka. Officials described the occasion as a symbolic reaffirmation of bilateral cooperation.
Speaking on the occasion, officials expressed hope that the resumption of Biman’s operations would promote people-to-people contacts, boost trade and tourism, and create new travel opportunities between the two countries.
