Balochistan Attacks Expose India’s State-Sponsored Terrorism

Islamabad/Beijing: Experts and lawmakers have strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan, describing them as part of India’s state-sponsored campaign to destabilize Pakistan.

Prof. Cheng Xizhong, Senior Research Fellow at the Charhar Institute in Beijing, called the coordinated attacks by the India-backed Fitna al Hindustan “premeditated atrocities targeting innocent civilians,” including women, children, the elderly, and laborers.

He said intelligence findings link the assailants directly to cross-border terrorist ringleaders acting on India’s orders, highlighting the moral bankruptcy of the planners.

Prof. Cheng praised Pakistan’s security forces for their courageous response, noting that clearance operations successfully eliminated a large number of terrorists, though some soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice.

He criticized India’s “hypocrisy” in denouncing terrorism globally while allegedly funding, training, and directing attacks against Pakistan, including false-flag operations such as the 2025 Pahalgam incident in occupied Kashmir.

“Pakistan’s resolve remains unshakable,” he added. “All perpetrators will be brought to justice. India’s state-sponsored terrorism is a crime against peace and humanity and will be exposed internationally.”

In Islamabad, the Senate unanimously passed a resolution condemning the attacks, expressing condolences to the bereaved families and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

Moved by Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar, the resolution paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of security forces and law enforcement personnel who continue to protect citizens and defend the country.

The resolution reaffirmed the Senate’s commitment to peace, development, and political inclusion in Balochistan, emphasizing that sustainable security is inseparable from socio-economic progress, good governance, and respect for constitutional rights.

It also urged the government to ensure a transparent, swift investigation to bring all perpetrators, facilitators, and local and international sponsors of terrorism to justice.

The House called for strengthened intelligence coordination, enhanced border security, and improved counter-terrorism mechanisms, with a special focus on Balochistan, reiterating that the unity of the State and the will of the people will prevail over all forces of violence, extremism, and terrorism.
