Bahawalpur Faces Excessive Heatwave

Bahawalpur: The Bahawalpur region has experienced an excessive heatwave, compelling residents to stay indoors, with routine traffic significantly reduced on city roads.

On Tuesday, the highest maximum temperature recorded was 43°C, though it felt like 53°C. Very hot winds continued to blow through the region, further driving people indoors.

Meanwhile, the local Met Office has forecast dry to partly cloudy weather for the city over the next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature recorded in the last 24 hours was 43°C, while the lowest minimum was 32°C. Dry to partly cloudy weather has also been predicted for the rest of the region.
