Babar Azam Will Soon Tie the Knot, Confirms Rizwan

Islamabad: Pakistani cricket team’s wicketkeeper-batsman, Mohammad Rizwan, disclosed that Babar Azam is on the verge of tying the knot.
He added that he and Babar have also encouraged Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan to consider marriage. Rizwan emphasized the importance of fulfilling the obligations of faith, stating that marriage is a commandment from “Allah” and underscores the sanctity of the relationship between spouses.
Rizwan described his close friendship with Babar Azam, mentioning their late-night conversations where they exchange advice on various aspects of life.
He clarified that unlike others, they don’t need to message before visiting each other’s rooms, as they have an open-door policy for mutual learning.
Reflecting on domestic cricket, Rizwan highlighted the emergence of talented players like Ehsanullah, Asif Ali, and Muhammad Ali from Multan Sultans.
He praised the high standard of club cricket in Peshawar and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of cricketers from the region.
Rizwan expressed his passion for cricket and his reliance on poetry inscribed on trucks to boost his confidence during fluctuating performances.

He credited Multan Sultans coach Abdur Rahman for instilling confidence in him, noting Rahman’s resilience in overcoming challenges, including threats while coaching Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Regarding his education, Rizwan admitted to having limited academic pursuits due to his cricket commitments, despite gaining admission to Islamia College. He expressed regret over not being able to pursue further education but remains focused on his cricketing career.
In emphasizing the importance of education alongside cricket, Mohammad Rizwan cited examples such as Misbah-ul-Haq, Muhammad Hafeez, and Shan Masood who have balanced their sporting careers with academic pursuits.
He advocated for the inclusion of sports scholarships in Pakistan’s educational system to support aspiring athletes in their academic endeavors.
Rizwan expressed a desire for the construction of Arbab Niaz Stadium, emphasizing its significance as a venue for cricket matches.
He noted the enthusiasm of foreign players to participate in matches held at the stadium in Peshawar, highlighting its historical significance and the passionate fan base it attracts.
Reflecting on the teachings of Islam, Rizwan encouraged Pakistani youth to strive for excellence in all endeavors, echoing the Islamic principle of excelling in every aspect of life.
He urged the youth to pursue their goals with honesty and dedication, believing that individual efforts towards development will contribute to the progress of Pakistan as a nation.
