Arora Emphasizes Interfaith Unity on Ashura Day

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Ramesh Singh Arora, conveyed a poignant message on the occasion of Ashura, highlighting the significance of Hazrat Imam Hussain’s (R.A.) sacrifice.

Arora emphasized that the day serves as a powerful reminder of the eternal battle between truth and falsehood.

“The battle of Imam Hussain (A.S.) was a profound struggle between truth and falsehood. Verily, truth has triumphed, and falsehood has been vanquished,” the minister stated. 

He urged everyone to consistently advocate for the truth, recalling that Imam Hussain (A.S.) sacrificed his life but remained steadfast in his commitment to truth.

Arora called for collective efforts to promote interfaith harmony. “We all have to work together for the promotion of interfaith,” he said. 

He highlighted that messages of peace and love are being taught in Mosques, Temples, Churches, and Gurdwaras, and stressed the importance of fostering love by eliminating hatred.
