Apple to Unveil New iPhones at September 9 Fall Event

News Desk

California: Apple has announced that it will host its annual fall event on September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theater, where the tech giant is expected to reveal new iPhones, Apple Watches, and a lineup of upgraded devices with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence.

The event, always a major highlight on the global tech calendar, is being closely monitored by investors amid concerns that Apple risks falling behind rivals in the rapidly evolving AI race.

According to media reports, the company may debut a slimmer iPhone model, possibly branded as the iPhone Air, aligning it with Apple’s iPad Air and MacBook Air product lines. New entry-level and high-end Apple Watches, updated iPad Pros, and a faster version of the Vision Pro headset are also expected to be showcased.

Apple’s push into AI comes as competitors such as Samsung, Huawei, and Honor have gained momentum by integrating AI features into their devices. In June, Apple previewed a redesigned operating system with what it described as a “liquid glass” interface, along with several AI-powered software upgrades.

Meanwhile, the company continues to navigate geopolitical and trade pressures. Under the Trump administration, Apple has pledged to invest $600 billion in the US over the next four years, shifting some of its production from overseas hubs like China and India in a bid to offset tariffs on imports.

While anticipation is high for the September event, analysts note that Apple’s relatively late entry into the AI market has given rivals a head start in luring customers with innovative features.

The company is now under pressure to demonstrate that it can reclaim leadership in both smartphone design and next-generation technology.
