Annual Exams: Mobile Phone Recovered from Student in Sukkur

Islamabad: A mobile phone was seized from a student during the checking of class 9th and 10th annual examinations in Sukkur, sources said on Thursday.
According to the details, as many as 54 centers have been established in Sukkur district, 105 in Khairpur and 41 centers in Ghotki district in the examinations administered by the Sukkur board.
Chairman Education Board Rafiq Pulah visited MK High School. Rafiq Pulh says that 100,577 candidates of class 9 and 10 are giving the exam.

He said that 30 raiding teams of the board have been formed to prevent cheating during the examinations, section 144 will be enforced inside and outside the examination centers.
It’s worth noting that the Sindh government has implemented a strict policy prohibiting both teachers and students from carrying mobile phones during matric exams throughout the province. This measure comes in response to the escalating issue of ‘copy culture’ during annual examinations in Sindh, including Sukkur.
This proactive step underscores the government’s determination to combat academic dishonesty and ensure the integrity of the examination process. By eliminating the possibility of unauthorized communication and access to external resources, authorities aim to create a fair and transparent environment for all students undertaking their matric exams.
