For KP, Sporadic Light Rain & Snowfall Over Hills Predicted

Peshawar:The Provincial Meteorological Center Peshawar on Thursday forecasted that most areas in the province would likely experience scattered light rain with light snowfall on the hills.
These weather conditions may prevail in Chitral, Lower and Upper Dir, Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Hangu, Orakzai, Kurram, Kohat, Bannu, LakkiMarwat, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, North and South Waziristan districts.
Over the past 24 hours, the majority of the province saw extremely cold and partly overcast weather. However, the district of Dera Ismail Khan experienced drizzle.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at different stations of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwaare as follows:

The lowest temperatures recorded in the province are -10°C in Kalam, and -06°C each in Tirah valley of Khyber and MalamJabba.
