Man Detained for Torturing Mother

Wah Cantt: The Wah Saddar police claimed to have arrested a man for allegedly torturing, abusing, and threatening his elderly mother.

The police have also registered a case against the son under the Protection of Parents Ordinance.

According to Sub Divisional Police Officer Taxila Circle DSP Malik Muhammad Arif, a woman informed the police that her drug-addicted son Asif Shah had tortured and mistreated her by threatening to kill her.

The local police responded to her complaint by arresting the accused after filing a case against him under the Protection of Parents Ordinance 2021.
