Knife Attack at China School Leaves Eight Dead, 17 Injured

Beijing: A knife attack at the Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in eastern China left eight people dead and 17 injured on Saturday, according to local police.
Authorities in Yixing city, Jiangsu province, confirmed the attack occurred in the evening and that the suspect, a 21-year-old former student, had been apprehended.
Police revealed that the suspect, who failed to graduate this year, confessed to returning to the school to “express his anger and commit these murders.”
Emergency services were deployed to provide immediate medical care to the injured and offer psychological support to affected individuals.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing, with the authorities pledging stringent action to prevent similar tragedies.
