Two More Polio Cases Reported in Sindh

Karachi: Two new polio cases have been reported in Sindh, raising the country’s total count to 26 for the year amidst a concerning surge in the virus.
According to media reports, a seven-year-old girl in Karachi East and a 12-month-old boy in Jath Taulka, Sujawal, have been paralyzed by the virus.
Of the 26 polio cases reported this year, 15 are from Balochistan, seven from Sindh, two from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and one each from Punjab and Islamabad, according to media sources.
