At Least 20 Injured in Separate Incidents Across Pakistan

Pattoki/ Turbat/Shangla: At least 20 people were injured in separate incidents reported across Pakistan on Wednesday, according to police and media sources.

In Pattoki, five individuals were injured when a tractor trolley collided with 11,000 KV electric wires near the Jaja Kalan Bridge.

The accident occurred when the tractor trolley, loaded with cargo, came into contact with the low-hanging electric wires. The iron frame of the trolley conducted the current, resulting in burns to the occupants.

The injured were immediately transported by residents to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The incident happened due to the electric wires hanging low in the area under the Lesco Sub-Division Sarai Mughal jurisdiction.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and have advised the public to exercise caution in the area.

Shangla Traffic Accident

In Shangla district, Malakand division, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eleven people were injured in a traffic accident. A car, reportedly driven recklessly, collided with a three-wheeler (rickshaw) on Shangla Road.

The impact caused the rickshaw to catch fire. Rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital. Police are investigating the incident.

Turbat Explosion

In Turbat, Balochistan, four people were injured in an explosion near a bank in the main market. The blast, which is believed to have been caused by a hand grenade, resulted in minor injuries to the victims, who were taken to Civil Hospital Turbat.

Shahid Rind, a spokesperson for the Balochistan government, condemned the incident and stated that a probe has been initiated to identify the perpetrators. The spokesperson added that medical treatment was being provided to the victims and that law enforcement personnel are working to ascertain the nature of the blast.
