Atiqa Odho Praises Saba Hamid’s Role in Noor Jahan

Lahore: Seasoned actress and host Atiqa Odho recently praised fellow veteran Saba Hamid for her remarkable performance in the serial Noor Jahan.

After the airing of the gripping episodes 20 and 21 this past weekend, Odho took to Instagram to commend Hamid’s portrayal of the titular character, calling it an ‘acting masterclass’ for aspiring actors.

On social media, Odho shared her admiration, writing, “I wanted to express how inspired I am as an actor watching my friend Saba Hamid in #NoorJahan. This role is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and what she has achieved with it is truly extraordinary. Her controlled, silent expressions are captivating! Absolutely well done.”

She also suggested that “newcomers in drama should view this performance as a #Masterclass,” and added, “So proud of you, Saba.”

Many of Odho’s Instagram followers echoed these sentiments about Hamid’s performance.

Noor Jahan features a stellar cast including Kubra Khan, Ali Rehman Khan, Noor Hassan, Zoya Nasir, Hajra Yamin, Ali Raza, Yousuf Bashir Qureshi, Mahmood Aslam, and Alina Abbas.

The show is directed by Musaddiq Malek and written by renowned playwright Zanjabeel Asim Shah. It airs every Friday and Saturday during prime time exclusively on ARY Digital.
