Monsoon Rains Expected in Lahore, Karachi Today

Lahore: The next spell of monsoon rains is expected to enter Lahore on July 11, while Karachi is expected to experience rainfall today (Monday).

 According to the Meteorological Department, heat and humidity will prevail in Lahore today (Monday). 

The current temperature is 30 degrees Celsius, with a maximum expected to reach 38 degrees. The humidity level in the air is recorded at 80 percent.

Experts predict no chance of rain in Lahore within the next 24 hours. However, the city can expect its next spell of rain starting from July 11. The Air Quality Index has recorded a pollution rate of 155 in Lahore, placing it sixth on the list of the most polluted cities in the world.

Specific areas recorded higher pollution levels: American Consulate at 168, Thokar Niaz at 164, Kot Lakhpat at 114, and Syed Marat Ali Road at 161.

Clouds are expected to bring rain to Karachi today (Monday). The Meteorological Department has indicated a likelihood of rain in the city of Quaid. Influenced by monsoon winds, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in the evening and night.

 The climate remains hot and humid. The current temperature in Karachi is 31 degrees Celsius, feeling like 38 degrees due to the heat intensity. The maximum temperature today is likely to reach 37 degrees Celsius, with the humidity level in the air at 78 percent.
