Groom Dies in Road Crash

Muzaffargarh: A young man died in an accident near Khair Pur Sadaat a day before his planned marriage in Alipur Tehsil of district Muzaffargarh.

According to details, Muhammad Ijaz Jatoi, a resident of Jatoi Colony Sultan Pura, and his brother were scheduled to have their weddings back to back on Thursday and Friday.

Last night, Ijaz was traveling by motorcycle as part of the marriage party, “Baraat,” for his brother heading towards Jatoi City.

Tragically, his motorcycle slipped, and he fell near the mausoleum of Hazrat Pir Mohib Faqeer in Khair Pur Sadaat town. A tractor-trolley approaching from behind ran over him, causing his death on the spot.

The groom passed away Thursday night before his wedding, which was scheduled for Friday night (tonight).

He was laid to rest at a local graveyard in Sultan Pura after Namaz-e-Janaza.
