72 Dengue Patients Under Treatment in Allied Hospitals

Rawalpindi: As many as 72 dengue patients are currently being treated at Allied Hospitals in Rawalpindi. In the past 24 hours, 30 new cases have been reported.

According to the latest report from the District Health Authority, the total number of positive dengue cases this year has reached 445.

The highest number of cases, 20, were reported from Potohar Town in the last 24 hours, with Chak Jalal Din remaining one of the most affected areas. Additionally, five cases were reported from Chaklala Cantt Board (CCB) areas.

The report indicates a rising trend in the number of admitted patients compared to those discharged, suggesting that the number of patients being admitted exceeds those being released after treatment.

Benazir Bhutto Hospital currently has the highest number of dengue patients, with 36 individuals under treatment, followed by Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital, which is treating 15 patients.

Meanwhile, the CM Mobile Health Unit visited Chak Jalal Din and other areas, where it examined 335 patients. Of these, 233 patients were checked in Chak Jalal Din alone, and the unit conducted 104 various medical tests.
