23 New Dengue Cases Reported in Pindi

Lahore: The Punjab Health Department confirmed on Thursday that 30 new dengue cases were reported across the province in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest data, 23 cases were recorded in Rawalpindi, two in Kasur, and one case each in Lahore, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, and Chakwal.
Over the past week, 153 new cases of dengue have been identified, raising the total number of cases in Punjab to 550 for the year 2024.
In light of the increasing cases, the Health Department issued a public advisory, urging citizens to keep their surroundings clean and dry to prevent the spread of the dengue virus.
The department also called for full cooperation with health teams working to contain the outbreak.
